Who we are

This site (lendingcalculator.net) is operated by Pond Software. You can reach us any time at hello@lendingcalculator.net.

Information you enter

The numbers you type into a calculator — loan amount, interest rate, term, income, and so on — are processed in your browser to produce a result. They are not sent to us, stored on a server, or tied to your identity. Some pages read and write values in the page's URL (query parameters) so a scenario can be bookmarked or shared, but that link contains only the figures you chose to include.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how the site is performing overall. GA4 sets cookies and collects standard measurement data — pages viewed, approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google does not log in full), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. We look at this in aggregate; we don't use it to identify individual visitors. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on, or block analytics cookies through your browser or a content blocker.

Affiliate links (Amazon Associates)

Some pages link to books and related products on Amazon. Lending Calculator is a participant in the Amazon Associates program, an affiliate advertising program. If you follow one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click through, Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute the referral — that activity is governed by Amazon's privacy policy, not ours. Full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

Advertising

If we display advertising on the site, it may be served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. Ad networks and their partners commonly use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits. You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through your Google Ad Settings, and opt out of many other vendors at aboutads.info. We will update this section with any specific networks before running ads.

Cookies and your choices

The cookies on this site come from the third-party tools described above — analytics, affiliate attribution, and any advertising — rather than from a login or shopping cart of our own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the calculators will keep working without them, since the math runs locally. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data and to opt out of certain tracking. Because we don't maintain accounts or personal profiles, most requests are handled simply by adjusting your browser settings — but you can always email us and we'll help.

We never sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never will. We don't build advertising profiles ourselves or hand your details to data brokers. The only data sharing that happens is with the service providers named above (Google, Amazon, and any disclosed ad network) strictly so they can perform the function described.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for example, if we add an advertising network. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
